Terms of Service

Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, or using Hey Eduardo ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hey Eduardo regarding your use of the Software.

License

What you get

When you purchase Hey Eduardo, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the Software on your device(s) according to the plan you purchased:

Pro license: Install and use on one personal device.

Lifetime license: Install and use on up to two personal devices belonging to you.

Business license: Install and use on the number of devices specified by the number of seats purchased, for commercial purposes within your organization.

What you don't get

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or transfer the Software or your license to any third party
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software
• Use the Software to build a competing product
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the Software
• Use a single license on more devices than permitted by your plan

Updates

Pro plan: Includes all updates released within 12 months of your purchase date. After 12 months, the Software continues to function but you will not receive new feature updates. You may purchase an upgrade at any time.

Lifetime plan: Includes all future updates to the Software for as long as Hey Eduardo is actively developed and distributed, at no additional cost.

Business plan: Includes all future updates for the duration of your active license.

We reserve the right to discontinue development of the Software. In the event of discontinuation, the Software will continue to function as-is but will no longer receive updates. No refunds are issued for discontinuation of future updates.

Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise specified. Purchases are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. By completing a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms of service.

All sales are final after the 14-day refund window described in our Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Hey Eduardo only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Software to:

• Process or analyze content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Facilitate fraud, deception, or harm to others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

AI Disclaimer

Hey Eduardo uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. The Software is a comprehension and productivity tool — it is not a substitute for professional advice.

Specifically:

• Eduardo is not a licensed tax advisor, CPA, attorney, financial advisor, or medical professional
• Responses generated by Eduardo should not be treated as professional advice
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information generated by Eduardo before acting on it
• The local AI model has a knowledge cutoff date and may not reflect recent legal, regulatory, or factual changes

We make no warranty that Eduardo's responses are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice at heyeduardo.app. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
